WELCOME TO PEOPLE FOR PUBLIC ART
WELCOME TO PEOPLE FOR PUBLIC ART!
We are a collective of New Orleans muralists who facilitate public art projects and create training opportunities for women and youth artists.
OUR CURRENT PROJECT is a 1-on-1 Apprenticeship program through which we pair youth artists with experts in their field, facilitating and funding their training to work on professional job sites.
Supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council, as administered by Arts New Orleans. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment of the Arts and Foundation for Louisiana.
